Meet the team behind SC Stem Chiropractic & Wellness.
Behind every appointment, phone call, and treatment is a close-knit team that cares deeply about the people who walk through our doors. We stay intentionally personal, focused, and present with every patient.
Dr. D
Dr. Darin Faller leads the clinic with a deeply personal mission: helping people who feel defeated, dismissed, or out of options find a more thoughtful path forward. With nearly a decade of clinical experience as a licensed chiropractor, he combines structural care with a whole-body perspective.
As a former professional wakeboarder, he knows firsthand what it feels like to be the patient. After surgery for a serious injury left him disappointed, he began searching for something better, not only for himself, but for others who have felt stuck in the system.
That search led him to expand into regenerative health strategies that focus on supporting the body from the inside out. Chiropractic remains the foundation of his work, but he is especially passionate about integrating forward-thinking methods that support deeper, longer-term progress.
Dr. Faller is known for treating patients as individuals rather than protocols. He takes time to understand their goals, circumstances, and story, then builds care strategies with science, compassion, and personal attention.
His reputation for integrity and results has earned trust from patients and peers alike, including doctors who travel across state lines for care and physicians who regularly refer patients to him. He believes people deserve to be seen, heard, and cared for in a way that honors their individuality.
Dr. Furman
With more than 20 years of experience in anesthesiology and interventional pain management, Dr. Matthew Furman brings precision and calm to advanced procedures. He focuses on image-guided injections for complex areas, including the spine, with close attention to safety and comfort.
He partners with the SC Stem team during more advanced regenerative medicine procedures, especially when deep joint or spinal access is required. His clinical background and steady presence make him a trusted part of more sensitive care.
Ebonee Hicks
Ebonee is a licensed massage therapist in good standing with the Board of Massage Therapy in South Carolina. She completed her massage therapy education in Newfoundland, Canada, graduating in June 2022, and relocated to the Midlands in August 2024.
Her earlier background in counseling reflects a long-standing desire to help others. After time at home raising triplets, she chose massage therapy as a new way to support people, drawing on her strong interest in anatomy and physiology.
Her hands-on training includes work focused on soft tissue function and pain, with techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial work, trigger point release, manual lymph drainage, cupping therapy, and other modalities.
Ebonee values continued education and takes a client-focused approach, shaping each session around the goals and needs of the individual in front of her.
A team that values clarity, comfort, and personal care.
